About Us

____________________

The Cavalier Canal Association, Inc. consists of homeowners and residents who live along an approximately 100 ft. wide by 1/2 mile long stormwater drainage easement dubbed the Cavalier Canal in Portsmouth, Virginia. The Cavalier Canal is a non-tidal stormwater drainage canal that is primarily situated between Warfield Drive and Carrington Crescent in the sub-division of Cavalier Manor. It connects with Lake Cavalier at the culvert on Roosevelt Boulevard. Through the formation of this association we seek, to improve the quality of living for residents, to protect property and property value for homeowners living along the canal by helping to foster a more responsible and better managed approach to the drainage easement properties that includes direct involvement in the upkeep of the stormwater drainage easement.
