Cavalier Canal Restoration Project

Phase I - Restoration of earthen embankment on the Warfield Drive side of the canal w/ erosion controls.
Phase II - Excavation of the entire Cavalier Canal to restore capacity and thus help lessen the likelihood of further residential property damage along the canal caused by water erosion and to remove accumulated sediment that traps trash and debris and exacerbates the formation of breeding habitat for mosquitoes, other insects and excessive algae growth.
